An opportunity to perform for Casting Society of America Casting Directors & Casting Associates in support of local food pantries and organizations providing COVID 19-related relief.

Casting Society Cares, the non-profit 501c3 charitable arm of CSA, and Actors Pro Expo are hosting Meals 4 Monologues Virtual. CSA members will be devoting a full day to seeing union and non-union actors online.

We encourage all actors to make a donation to a local food bank – resources for online donations and local drop off locations are below.  Donations are not required to participate in the event.

Please prepare a 1 minute contemporary monologue OR a 1 minute contemporary song that showcases you as a performer. Performance time slots will be allocated by random selection. Successful applicants will be notified of their performance time slot and joining instructions 2 days in advance.

Alexa Pereira
Alexa Pereira grew up in New Jersey but is now based in LA. She turned her love of acting and performing into her dream job and has been an Associate Casting Director for nearly 7 years. Alexa started out in commercial casting but soon realized she loved working in the theatrical world much more. Being a former actress herself, Alexa’s favorite part of her job is being in session and being able to work directly with the actors. She has enjoyed working on such projects as “New Girl”, “On Becoming a God in Central Florida” and “Tokyo Vice”. She has worked with numerous Studios and Networks including Showtime, Blumhouse, Hulu and most recently HBOMax.
Amelia Rasche McCarthy
Amelia Rasche McCarthy is a casting director in NY. Her associate credits include Fosse/Verdon (nominated for casting Emmy), Little America, House of Cards (6th season), Flight of the Conchords (1st season), Sugar, Michael Clayton, No Country for Old Men, Doubt, Gran Torino, Company Men, You Don’t Know Jack, True Grit, The Ides of March, Men In Black 3, The Bourne Legacy, Inside Llewyn Davis and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Annalese Tilling & Errin Lally
Errin Lally and Annalese Tilling are Vancouver-based Casting Directors. Their recent credits include the The Boy II starring Katie Holmes, upcoming Netflix feature Operation Christmas Drop, starring Alexander Ludwig and series such as Jordan Peels’ reboot of The Twilight Zone, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Nancy Drew, and iZombie.

Both Annalese and Errin are passionate about film & television and thrive at the challenge of finding just the right performer to bring a character off the page and into life. As avid viewers of a wide range of genres, we do, of course, have our favorites. Errin particularly enjoys a good British cop drama with a little dry wit and Annalese likes to be fully immersed in worlds unlike our own, from period dramas to sci-fi and everything in between.

Bruce Newberg
BRUCE H. NEWBERG, CSA is an award winning Casting Director with extensive experience in film, television and theater. Bruce has been nominated 24 times for the Artios Award in Casting, winning three times for his work on BIG RIVER, COMPANY and SPRING AWAKENING. He was also given THE MEDIA ACCESS AWARD for casting 10 deaf actors and 1 paraplegic in SPRING AWAKENING in 2016. Bruce was educated at Tufts University (B.A. in Drama) and U.C.L.A. Film School (M.F.A.in screenwriting). Prior to his casting career he created the TBS comedy series DOWN TO EARTH with best friend Sam Harris which ran for 104 episodes and wrote the book and lyrics for the original musical HURRY! HURRY! HOLLYWOOD! which premiered at The La Mirada Theatre and in workshop at Manhattan Theatre Club. He also spent three years as a writer for Bette Midler’s company Miss M Productions at Disney Studios and was a staff writer for GENERAL HOSPITAL. He is a member of The Television Academy, The Writers Guild, The Casting Society of America and The Teamsters.

Cami Patton
Cami Patton is an Emmy award winning Casting Director. Her career highlights include JUSTIFIED and THE AMERICANS (pilot) for FX, ENLIGHTENED for HBO, PUSHING DAISIES for ABC, THE UNITED STATES OF TARA for Showtime, and alongside her former partner Meg Liberman, the miniseries BAND OF BROTHERS and THE PACIFIC for HBO. Cami is currently casting season four of GOLIATH for Amazon and preparing to cast Jason Katims’ new series ON THE SPECTRUM, also for Amazon.
Caroline Liem
Casting is my joy and longtime craft. Whether casting for green screen adventures, voiceover for animation or award winning and nominated feature and television, the excitement found in collaboration, creating the perfect ensemble of artists continues to challenge in the most delightful way. Caroline has worked with Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox, Disney Studios, Sony, Warner Bros, Nick Jr, ABC, CBS, NBC, The CW and Fox. A member of the CSA National Board of Directors, she co-chairs Equity In Entertainment and BIPOC Workgroup. When she’s not building her empire she’s baking vegan banana bread and lounging with her favorite kitty, Flake.
Cheryl Louden-Kubin
Cheryl Louden-Kubin, CSA: Graduate of Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY (BA Drama/ English) Attended Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts -London, England(Jr. Year College). Carnegie Mellon Univ.(summer program) Pitts, PA. Cheryl started casting work as an Associate Casting Director in Miami, and then moved to in-house casting for Miami Vice. CLIO award winner for a Pepsi commercial. Opened The Casting Crew, Inc. in Hollywood, Florida in 1990. Relocated to the Atlanta area in 2000. Opened AtlantaCastingLLC 7 years ago. She does commercials and mostly indie projects . Several projects in the works. She loves actors and the process and feels that her acting background helps her be a better casting director.

Donna Morong
Donna Morong is a respected casting director with over 25 years in the business. She spent 15 years at The Walt Disney Company ultimately becoming Senior Vice President of Motion Picture Casting in the feature film division, where she cast films such as “PRINCESS DIARIES”, “SHANGHAI KNIGHTS”, “10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU”, “DEUCE BIGOLO”, “ANNAPOLIS”, “CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN”. In 2008, she won an Artios Award for casting Ben Affleck’s “GONE BABY GONE” for Miramax which garnered an Academy Award Nomination for Amy Ryan. IN 2009, with Deborah Aquila, she formed the Aquila Morong Studio for Actors and has recently branched off to form Donna Morong Acting Studio. In recent years she has been casting independent features, including Quentin Dupieux’s cult hit “RUBBER” and “Realite”, that have premiered at Sundance and other major film festivals. In 2018 a film she exec produced and cast, “ Are We There Yet” went to Cannes, as part of the Acid program.She is committed to supporting young filmmakers, especially from under-represented groups. In addition, as an outgrowth of her work as a teacher and coach, she has recently cast and produced “This Is Our Youth”, “Orphans”, “reasons to be pretty” and “Extremities” in LA.
Erica Bream
ERICA S. BREAM, CSA started working in Casting when she was 18 years old. Since then, she has worked on projects across all mediums, including on titles such as ALTERED CARBON (Netflix), COLONY (USA), CRIMINAL MINDS
(CBS), REVOLUTION (NBC), STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS (Paramount), 11:22.63 (Hulu) and many others. Notably, Bream has cast eleven seasons of the prestigious Young Playwrights Festival for The Blank Theatre Company. Over the years, Bream’s work in theatre, short film and television casting has garnered her nine Artios nominations and a win in the Los Angeles Theatre category.
Erica Hart
ERICA A. HART (Casting Director) graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied film and television. She was the Casting Coordinator at ABC and is now the Casting Associate for “Ray Donovan”, “The Bold Type”, “Defending Jacob”, and “Godfather of Harlem”. She has cast projects that have screened at Tribeca, SXSW, Outfest, and Cannes and some that are on Netflix and Amazon. She has also cast commercials and music videos for many brands and artists. Erica has collaborated with The National Black Theatre to cast a handful of their shows and readings. Outside of casting, she has developed new series for BET and WeTV.
Jamibeth Margolis
Jamibeth Margolis, CSA was with Johnson-Liff Casting, Cameron Mackintosh, and Margolis-Seay Casting and is now out on her own as a freelance casting director. Previous credits include the Broadway and National Touring Companies of Les Miserables, The Phantom Of The Opera, Miss Saigon, Cats, and Jane Eyre as well as two dozen other shows on Broadway. She also casts for Off Broadway, National Touring Companies and shows for prominent regional theaters and all of the major theater festivals in NYC. Her casting office is dedicated to the development of new plays and musicals. Additional casting credits include multiple television pilots and on camera industrials for major US companies. Recent/Current Casting: Cleveland Musical Theatre, National Yiddish Theatre, Fiddler On The Roof In Yiddish (Stage 42), Sistas: The Musical (Off-Broadway). She holds a degree from Ithaca College in Drama/Directing.
Jill Anthony Thomas
Jill Anthony Thomas is Los Angeles based casting director with a focus on comedy. Some of her favorite credits include Santa Clarita Diet, Gilmore Girls, Better off Ted, The Real O’Neals, Best in Show, Man Seeking Woman and Futurama.
Johanna Tacadena
Johanna Tacadena received her BA in Dance at SUNY at Buffalo and launched her musical theater career, performing regionally, nationally and on broadway. As a commercial actor, she worked on many regional and national commercials. As a makeup artist, Johanna worked on numerous film and commercial productions. She taught on-camera commercial classes for BreakThrough Casting and within a year, became co-owner and casting director for over 8 years.
Her passion for all three crafts led Johanna to start her own company, T Creatives Casting and in 2019, she became a proud member of the Casting Society of America.
Karlee Fomalont
Karlee Fomalont, CSA, is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where her acting training made for a seamless transition into the world of casting. She began her career at CBS Primetime NY and ABC Primetime NY, where she cut her teeth working on numerous pilots. She then transitioned into independent casting, working on projects such as “The Get Down,” Baz Luhrmann’s ambitious Netflix series, and Steven Spielberg’s acclaimed drama “The Post,” for which her team was nominated for an Artios Award for Outstanding Achievement in Casting. In NY independent casting, she has worked with a number of top casting directors in the city, and is currently the Associate at Rori Bergman Casting where she has been for 5+ years, working on major studio feature films, independent films, cable and multiple streaming TV shows. In addition to her work with Rori, Karlee casts short films and features independently, most recently including Amazon Studios’ feature film “I’m Your Woman” starring Rachel Brosnahan slated to premiere this fall.
Kate Geller
Kate Geller is a NY-based Film/TV/Scripted Podcast Casting Director. Recent/current projects include: NINE DAYS (Sundance 2020), SHIVA BABY (SXSW 2020, TIFF 2020), MATERNA (Tribeca 2020), -SHIP (winner Short Film Jury Prize Sundance 2020), THE LAST THING MARY SAW, LONG WEEKEND, GIVING BIRTH TO A BUTTERFLY, LONG WEEKEND, and many more upcoming films.


Kathryn Zamora-Benson
Kathryn Zamora-Benson, Casting Associate at Alexa L. Fogel Casting, has won 3 Artios awards for her work on Pose and Atlanta and has earned 3 additional nominations for Ozark and The Deuce. Some of her numerous Associate credits include The Plot Against America, The Politician, The Outsider, Warrior, Banshee, Too Big To Fail, Our Brand Is Crisis, The Divide, The Mist, Chambers and The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind, Chiwetel Ejiofor’s directorial debut. Upcoming projects include The Prom for Netflix, Ryan Murphy’s film adaptation of the award-winning Broadway musical.
Kelly Knox
Kelly Knox began his casting career in commercials and music videos. He was head of casting (2017-2019) at Brat TV, the famed digital media network with over 20 million viewers. He is currently head of casting at PureFlix entertainment. Knox has worked with Oscar-nominated and award-winning directors and producers including David Fincher, Mark Burg, Nate Parker, Damien Chazelle, and directors Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah. Kelly won the 2019 Venice film festival best film sconfini award for casting Nate Parker’s “American Skin” (2020 Theo Rossi, Omari Hardwick, Beau Knapp, AnnaLynne McCord). He just finished casting PureFlix’s film “Beckman” (2020 William Baldwin, Jeff Fahey, Burt Young) and he just signed on to cast the franchise “Transcendents”, produced by Brian Rogers (Godzilla, Harry Potter). He is a proud member of the CSA, Casting Society of America.
Kevin Metzger Timson
Kevin has been with Tara Rubin Casting since 2018, casting for Dear Evan Hansen (Broadway and National Tour), Ain’t Too Proud (Broadway), Disney’s Aladdin (Broadway and National Tour), Les Miserables (National Tour), Miss Saigon (National Tour), and multiple regional theatres. Prior to TRC, he worked at Wojcik/Seay Casting and Joy Dewing Casting, casting the national tours of RENT 20th Anniversary Tour and Kinky Boots, Something Rotten, Rock of Ages 10th Anniversary Tour, Mamma Mia Farewell Tour, and 42nd Street. Kevin is a graduate of the Orange County School of the Arts and New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Kimberly Skyrme
Kimberly has cast for Independent and Hollywood Feature Films, Television Series, Government Agency Videos and Commercials in numerous regions around the country. Creative Collaborations include House of Cards – Seasons 1-3, The Girlfriend Experience – Season 2, The Pelican Brief, True Lies and Deep Impact; FBI, DNI and USDA as well as Commercials for Enfamil, McCormick, Washington Post, and Bud Light.

She is currently in preproduction for Christmas in New England, her Directorial Feature Film Debut as well as Development of Harbor Island, the Series and Casting is underway for both projects.

Liz Dean
Liz Dean has cast hundreds of hours of television and has collaborated with some of the most recognized names in TV and film. Some of her credits include: The pilot of NBC’s NEW AMSTERDAM; Netflix’s FIREFLY LANE; ABC’s DESIGNATED SURVIVOR; TNT’s MAJOR CRIMES, ABC’s THE FAMILY plus FX’s ground breaking and golden globe wining NIP/TUCK and Lisa Cholodenko’s feature film THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT (for which she won an Artios award). She is about to begin work on her fourth season of NBC’s GOOD GIRLS, plus the fourth season of ABC’s THE GOOD DOCTOR and the second season of CBS All Access STAR TREK: PICARD.
Luis Cañete
Luis S. Canete, CSA is an LA based bicoastal casting director and member of the CSA.

Rose Rosen
Rose Rosen, CSA is known as one of Florida’s most distinguished casting directors. Rosen provides talent for both episodic and unscripted TV shows, movies, commercials and print campaigns nationwide. Rosen credits her work casting Edward Scissorhands for advancing her own industry credentials. Beyond the Tim Burton classic, additional credits include the upcoming thriller Not Alone and the upcoming episodic Snowbirds, in addition to Extreme Weight Loss, Cowboy U, Bridezillas and numerous television commercials and web content.

Seth Caskey
Seth Caskey has worked with Elizabeth Barnes since 2015 and has been involved with the Emmy nominated Netflix series GLOW, What/If, Siren, Blood & Treasure and Don’t Look Deeper, directed by Catherine Hardwicke for Quibi. His work on GLOW also earned him 2019 & 2020 Artios Awards nominations alongside fellow casting director Jen Euston.
Sunday Boling
Sunday Boling began her career in the feature casting office of 20th Century Fox assisting Christian Kaplan on Dude, Where’s My Car?, Ice Age, Behind Enemy Lines and more. She then worked for CDs Sheila Jaffe, Debi Manwiller, Eyde Belasco and Francine Maisler before launching Morman Boling Casting with Meg Morman. Feature credits include Unlovable, The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Hello My Name is Doris, Hunter Gatherer and Waitress. Recent TV and streaming includes Ish Hashuv Meod, The Dead Girls Detective Agency, Betrayed, Relationship Status and In the Vault. Sunday sits on the national board of the Casting Society of America.
Zora DeHorter
Zora is a Nigerian born, British raised, Hollywood independent/freelance film, television and commercial CASTING DIRECTOR as well as a CBS TV Judge. Zora is on the Board of Directors for the prestigious “Casting Society of America”.

She has cast such films as Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Ali G InDa House” (2002), “Species III” (2004), “Loving Annabelle” (2006) which won 10 awards including L.A. Outfest, Atlanta Film Festival, Paris Film Festival, Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival; “Half-Life” won emerging director award (Jennifer Phang) at the Asian American Film Festival in 2008 as well as best feature Gen Art Film Festival in 2008, then in 2009 won jury award at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. She followed that with “Sushi Girl” (2012) in which she cast Danny Trejo, Mark Hamill, Michael Biehn, Tony Todd, Jeff Fahey.

From 2002-2004 Zora worked in-house for MGM Television casting TV series “She Spies”, “Dead Like Me” and “Jeremiah”. She got to work with MGM again at the end of 2014 as a casting consultant on an MGM feature film entitled “Max”.

End of 2014 Zora cast a pragmatic gritty urban tale about Latino gangs set in East Los Angeles called “I Am Gangster”. This film proved to be a challenging yet gratifying experience casting sixty-six speaking roles predominately of Mexican descent mostly under the age of 18. Then she finished off the year with a martial arts themed feature “Insight” starring John Savage, Tony Todd and Keith David.

In 2015 Zora had a wonderful experience working with Sean Stone (Oliver Stone’s son) on ‘Fury of the Fist and the Golden Fleece” and worked again with award-winning director Katherine Brooks (“Loving Annabelle”) to cast her follow-up feature attaching Jill Hennessey to play the lead in “Lost In Time”.

Zora also just completed five features “What is and What Should Never Be” starring Nichelle Nichols, “Red Sneakers” starring Adrian Paul and Erica Gimpel, “Nana’s Pancakes” starring Vivica A. Fox and “Michael Vey” based on the Michael Vey books by Richard Paul Evans. Then “Trees of Peace” – a feature based on true accounts of the 1994 Rwandan genocide.

Working with director McKay Daines, Zora cast predominantly true Native-American actors for the MOW “Shadow Wolves” about real accounts of Native-Americans who work side by side NSA to infiltrate border crimes. “Shadow Wolves” stars Thomas Gibson, Graham Greene, Louise Lombard and Cody Walker.

In front of the camera, Zora was the protagonist in the 2005 award-winning documentary by director Veit Helmer entitled “Behind the Couch: Casting in Hollywood”. 2006, Zora portrayed herself as “the Casting Director” for the long running reality TV series about rock star and the front man for the rock band “Kiss” called “Gene Simmons: Family Jewels”. In 2019, Zora was again on-camera as an ‘EXPERT JUDGE in Casting’ for CBS TV series “The World’s Best” with host James Cordon and American judges Drew Barrymore, Faith Hill and RuPaul.
