Perform for Casting Directors & Agents and donate to the North Enfield Food Bank!
Casting Society Cares, the non-profit charitable arm of CSA, and Surviving Actors are proud to be hosting Meals 4 Monologues at this year’s event. Casting Directors & Agents will be devoting a full day to seeing actors who would like to participate in a food drive to benefit the North Enfield Food Bank. This is a great way to give back to the community and be seen by some wonderful Casting Directors and agents.
Sign up will be in the exhibition hall from 10am – slots are limited and work on a fist come, first served basis.
Please prepare a 2-minute contemporary monologue that showcases you as an actor.

Carol casts for stage and screen, but predominantly feature films. Theatre credits include: All My Sons (The Rose Theatre, Kingston upon Thames, dir. Michael Rudman) 2016 and the Hong Kong Tour of All My Sons in 2018. Film credits include Skybound (Vizionz, dir. Alexander Tavakoli, 2017 release), Shivaay (Directed by Ajay Devgn) 2016, The Cook (Senator Films GmbH, dir. Ralf Huttner, current); Mother of Tears and The Card Dealer (both directed by Dario Argento).
Past TV credits include Infiltrators for Belgian TV, this is currently airing in Belgium and Kingdom in Twilight (Konstantin Thoeren / Tandem, dir. Uli Edel); as well as numerous pilot searches for NBC, CBS, ABC and WB.
She is currently working on an indie, The Laureate about Robert Graves which is shooting in March and The Window, a new TV series about corruption in football to shoot in July.
She also has 3 other projects in various states of development.
Carol is a member of CDG (Casting Director’s Guild of GB), CSA, BAFTA and ATAS.
Rae began her career as an actress and worked on various TV shows as well as working at theatres including Glasgow Citizens & The Royal Exchange in Manchester.
Her film credits include: The Journey (multi-award winning), Jericho’s Walls Are Falling.
TV credits include: Murdered For Love? Samia Shahid; Queen Elizabeth I’s Secret Agents (RTS award winning and BAFTA nominated).
She is also a published author of a book of advice for actors ‘The Audition Room – A Down to Earth Guide’.
Film credits include : Winter Ridge, A New Day in Old Sana’a (cast and shot in Yemen), Captain Jack, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Cutthroat Island, Dark Blood (which was halted after the demise of River Phoenix) Prospero’ s Books and Utz. TV credits include : Wild at Heart, Rose & Maloney, Marguerite Volant (10 x1 hour series for French Canadian TV). Theatre credits include : Revivals for Optik Theatre Company, Chichester Festival Season, Faithful Dealing at Soho Theatre, M. Butterfly for Singapore Repertory Theatre, The Wood Demon at The Playhouse, London.
Ruth began her casting career at the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond before going freelance in 2014. She has worked as Associate for the Grandage Company, Almeida, Chichester Festival Theatre, Ambassador Theatre Group, Manchester International Festival, Royal Exchange Manchester and Ustinov Studio, Bath
Recent projects include Napoli, Brooklyn (Park Theatre), A New and Better You, A Kettle of Fish (Yard Theatre), The Outsider, Terminal 3 and Act (The Print Room), Ink (Duke of York’s Theatre), The Grapes of Wrath (Nuffield Theatre and tour). Ruth was also Resident Casting Director at the Unicorn Theatre.
Ruth is currently a mentor at the National Youth Theatre and has mentored at schools including Guildhall and Oxford School of Drama.
Recent projects include: UK indie features: BRUNO and SIX FROM EIGHT, US dance movie: FREE DANCE and Belgian thriller CONTROL. TV projects include: for Netflix: A CHRISTMAS PRINCE, A CHRISTMAS PRINCE: THE ROYAL WEDDING, THE PRINCESS SWITCH, and THE SAINT. Also film and TV projects for the BBC, ITV, Hallmark, SyFy Channel and Disney. Currently in Development: UK action movie 14 FISTS with John Hannah and Bai Ling, UK feature RED MIST, and a new UK TV series.
Children’s casting for The King and I and Wind in the Willows (London Palladium) and Doctor Dolittle (UK Tour).
Ellie was previously Casting Associate for the Ambassador Theatre Group.
He has spent his life in the arts, having previously founded and operated RKA Talent, a successful talent agency, and having a career as an actor and dancer.
As well as working with experienced and award winning actors, Rob is a big believer in discovering and nurturing new talent, and is currently casting for the next series of Sky’s ‘Bulletproof’, and feature film ‘Bloody London’.
